This past Saturday, March 26, the group "Theatre of Friends" of Santomera, played in the theater of social and cultural center of Totana Jail, a play and a farce which was attended by over four hundred people.
The works, cutting humor, to the delight of the audience, who spent some great moments of joy and good humor, thanks to the great performances of the actors.
The Association thanked Gene D'Luciano, as head of the theater group, their availability and cooperation, also to Peter Abellaneda for coordinating this event and bringing together the partnership with this wonderful theater group doing Santomera possible collection of more than 2000 euros for the benefit of D'Genes.
All proceeds will go towards the maintenance of the services that the association is providing to those affected by rare diseases.
At the end of the ceremony, the president of the association D'Genes, Naca Eulalia Pérez de Tudela, gave the group a check for the amount of 2000 euros as a sign of all proceeds obtained from this work, also welcomed the involvement of this theater group which he described as "one big family" that has managed to transmit their culture, thus enlarging our municipality, through the works he has played.
For its part, Luciano showed their longing for help, said they are a group of fans that still going on stage can shame more interest in supporting the needy.
He said that the theater group has four years working with different organizations and associations such as "Doctors Without Borders," Spanish Association Against Cancer, "Manos Unidas", NGO "Asomurgua" or priest Don Antonio Fernandez Marin is in Honduras, among others.
Highlighted the work being done by the Association D'Genes in his own words "is doing good for many people."
