The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the president of the Illustrious Cabildo Processions Senior, Juan María Zamarreño, have signed a collaboration agreement with an amount of 51,000 euros to assist with the organization of all events and processions of Holy Week Totana 2010.
By signing this agreement, which was also attended by most presidents of the Brotherhood, the City provides 51,000 euros, that on this occasion of them have been funded by the Foundation Dragados.
The mayor explained that one of the priorities for the Consistory is the streamlining and facilitating the activities and initiatives that promote Totana Easter.
This event, according to Martínez Andreo, has become more social activities of the municipality, as there are hundreds of people involved in organizing events and involving thousands of them, so that "it should prompt more and even beyond our borders to promote the charms of the Easter and so while helping the productive sectors of the municipality, because many tourists who come to the town to enjoy the events and processions. "
In this connection, it recalled the great efforts being made to that Easter be declared of Regional Tourist Interest and one of the examples of this promotion is the good reception given to the exhibitor who settled in the International Tourism Fair .
