The full City Council approved with votes for the PP and PSOE and IU + abstaining Greens commissioning of the second phase of the Municipal Service of Support for Unemployed Persons (SEAPA) by terminating the first phase in order to influence the formation and socio-reintegration of this group.

In this way, will offer support to social and professional integration of these people, that will include the development of a series of measures to improve the real possibilities for SEAPA beneficiaries access to employment through the design of individualized itineraries for labor and social inclusion , unification of the existing local employment exchange and the promotion and development of training activities.

The program also includes the performance of labor insertion pathways, which are actions to be developed individually or in groups, taking into account the profile and characteristics of employability of each recipient.

During this second phase is also made training courses taking into account the demand of the beneficiaries, businesses and proposals raised at meetings of the Local Council for Economic Development and Employment of the City of Totana, and for the completion and selection of these training courses will be adapted to the profiles of beneficiaries integrated into the database.

Similarly, they provide support for the recruitment of unemployed PAS, through small and medium enterprises, which play a decisive role in job creation and, more generally, are a factor of social stability and economic dynamism, as explained to the mayor and Employment Development, Trini Cayuela.

In this way, it will be completed the first phase of SEAPA, which was launched after its adoption in plenary municipal March 2009 with a total of 500 people attended and informed about the launch of this service informing them of the requirements and documentation to provide in order to be beneficiaries of which 195 applications were granted with a total allowance of 118,200 euros.

Of requests granted, the mayor reported that 101 were men and the rest women, and the profile in terms of training have been people without job skills and no education.

Thus, the Municipal Service Support Unemployed (SEAPA) has completed its first phase scheduled for attention and spread of this service and already has a sufficient database, as explained by the mayor, who has expressed the need for "continuing a second phase, promoting and establishing specific actions and / or specific to reinforce and complement others being developed at the municipal level to alleviate this problem and make these people a path of individual labor integration or working groups seeking a job and job management for this group.
