The councilman of Deportes, José Antonio Valverde Reina, President of Club Deportivo Sierra Espuña, Ginés López, and sports instructor, Martin Sanchez, presented the tournament I Paddle "Fiestas de Santiago", to be held on 11 and 12 July in the newly released paddle Sports City "Espuña."
This event, first organized in the municipality by the Department of Sports in collaboration with the Sierra Club Deportivo Espuña, will start from 9:00 pm on Saturday 11 and will be held at senior level, where only participate people over 16 years, in pairs, male, female and mixed in a single competition.
The competition system and rules are established depending on the number of teams registered.
The inscriptions, which have a $ 10 fee may be made until July 2 at the Municipal Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" and in morning and afternoon, and the Polideportivo Municipal "December 6" in time later.
As of July 3, may only be formalized in the Municipal Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" from 08:30 hours to 14:00 hours, and evenings at the Polideportivo Municipal.
The awards will be equipped with a trophy and 200 euros for the tournament champion, 150 euros and a trophy for the runner, and the semifinalists will receive a trophy and 100 euros.
Furthermore, as reported this sporting event organizers, the tournament will feature an exhibition, which will be run by members of the National Federation of Padel, such as the runner-up in Spain, Franco Carlos Alcaraz, to be held on Saturday 11 July at 19:00.
