Totana City Council ask the Regional Government to the implementation of a comprehensive care plan for rare diseases within the Health Plan of the Autonomous Region of Murcia and the establishment of a Medical Genetics Unit of reference in the Virgin Hospital the Arrixaca of Murcia.

These proposals have been submitted jointly by the Department of Social Welfare and Health, will be discussed in plenary, to be held on Tuesday 30 September.

Through this proposal, it will ask the Regional Government for the creation of an appropriate register of rare diseases, enabling the identification of the affected population in the region and the establishment of a Regional Commission for the preparation of the Comprehensive Care Plan RD composed of the members mentioned above.
