The Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, today presided over the Mass which was celebrated in the parish of Santiago El Mayor occasion of the feast of the patron saint of Totana, Santa Eulalia of Mérida.
Many parishioners, civil and religious authorities and representatives of the Board of The Holy Foundation, attended the Mass celebrated in the parish church coinciding with the patron saint's day.
Religious events continue today from 17:00, with the solemn procession with the statue of the patron who travel the main streets of the town.
Moreover, from tomorrow, the 11th, and until December 19 will be held solemn novena in honor of Santa Eulalia of Mérida;
and Sunday 14 will be held the traditional offering of flowers to the patron.
