The city of Totana, as approved in the Local Government Board, will participate in the second edition of "Handmade" Traditional Trades Hall and Popular Culture to be held in Torre Pacheco.

In this display, as stated by the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, will promote tourism, culture and crafts of the town, since the last edition of this event was a great success both for participation of undertakings, such as response visitors.

With this show, as reported by the mayor, are intended to rescue the traditional skills and craftsmanship revalue and contribute to enhance the activity of the sector, in addition to serving reinforcing existing marketing channels, and bring the public professional and general craft tradition.

Thus, in the II Salon of Traditional Crafts and Popular Culture accommodate companies have developed and marketed products either artisans crafts of any existing crafts from traditional crafts to the most avant-garde.

For this reason, as stated by the mayor is important that Totana, Murcia being the most traditional village potter, participate in the fair with a booth promoting city in which, in addition to pottery and ceramics, culture, tourism and traditions of the municipality.
