The Youth Council will organize a course on "leisure activities and free time to work with people with intellectual disabilities" which is designed to monitor leisure, cultural animators, students in these fields of work and other working groups interested in these areas of learning.
This course adds to the "Workshop Monitor Leisure" and "Expression and creativity, resources for educators and monitors leisure", taking place during the last quarter of the year under the Plan Juventud'2012 formation.
This program aims to support the process of real and effective integration of children with intellectual disabilities of all kinds, and know the basic characteristics and the problems associated with people who have some degree of intellectual disability.
Likewise, it aims to provoke awareness of a reality in the field of leisure standardized and easy resources to monitors and monitors leisure and free time to work with these people towards normalization and integration in the field of leisure.
The deadline for registration is September 12 and runs for 30 hours.
During it will address issues such as the monitor profile, patterns of behavior and communication skills, physical disabilities, intervention strategies, intellectual disabilities, relationships with families and resources to monitor battery and educators, among others.
The fee is 35 euros, participants must be at least 16 years, and will be held on 21, 22, 28 and 29 September, 5, 6, 19 and 20 October, so the hours shall be Friday from 17 to 20:30 and Saturdays from 9 to 13 hours, respectively.
