A year was held the prestigious Half Marathon "Villa de Santa Pola" that year after year is usually the most crowded of the east coast and almost the whole of Spain, described by a recognized expert in the field magazine as the best Half Marathon in Spain and on this occasion was celebrated in its XXIII edition.
Great time and temperature, for about 9,000 runners gathered the Alicante town, from all parts of Spain and enjoyed a spectacular run, running almost entirely near the Mediterranean Sea.
Even Santa Pola moved 17 athletes of the CAT, a significant number, in part due to the attractiveness of this test and in another because it was guilty of involvement in the timing of the VII Local League Athletics "Sports Mill", corresponding to the 2 nd Day and counting with this test, and would begin to highlight positions in that league.
With exact punctuality at 10.30 hours, kicked out the tide of 9,000 runners, among them were the 17 belonging to the CAT.
Spectacular atmosphere accompanied the runners along the entire route, with a lot of people that joined the party and they kept encouraging them, and several bands that played the pass.

Ultimately good Athletes Media for CAT, achieving several of them to lower their personal bests at this distance.
