Totana companies have participated in the closing day mappers Project (Murcia Activa Rural Employment), a pioneering move in the Region of Murcia to promote employability of groups with greater difficulties in finding employment.
Totana City Council has participated in this project, led by the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras and that also helped the Consistory of Cieza, through which residents of the town have expanded their training in geriatric care and totaneras companies will implement the Responsibility Corporate Social.

The Employment and Training Service of the Autonomous Community has promoted Maper Project, funded by the European Social Fund and has the aim of promoting social and professional integration of groups with integration difficulties (women, long-term unemployed, people with disabilities or young people under 30 years), mainly through training and advice, and promote the implementation of social accountability measures in the municipalities members of the Project.

Specifically, the workshop would have exposed the actions fostered by the three municipalities through Project Activa Murcia Rural Employment (mappers), concerning the implementation of measures to promote Corporate Social Responsibility.
These measures have highlighted actions related to environmental compliance in business and management, job placement plans that favor disadvantaged, or plans to reconcile work and family life.
