On Sunday May 8, held in the Andalusian village of Vélez Blanco X edition of the traditional mountain bike test "without fear of the witch," trial in March attended by club cyclists totanero, Juanda, Pedro Antonio and Pedro Moreno.
Unlike previous editions, the day was most suitable for the practice of mtb, as it remained throughout the morning sun and an excellent temperature for the harsh test of 53km which would run through the park's natural S ª Maria .
At 9 am we proceeded to the exit and the riders of the club as usual placed in forward positions, with the exception of Pedro Moreno misled and left far behind conditioned for the rest of the test.
In the first mile run Pedro Antonio took the lead of the club closely following the leading group, behind Juanda would soon join the group Pedro Antonio until about km 20, when Pedro Antonio had the bad luck suffering a puncture on a slope, having to stop for private arrangements to fight for podium positions, and that was with very good feelings.
Juanda continued in the group throughout the test and remained in the top 20 in the overall elite disputing the podium was finally able to get.
As for Pedro Moreno, was not his day, bad the bad feelings out and joined him mid-race puncture robbed him of finishing in top positions.
Juanda finally come into the post 19 of the general getting elite 3rd place, behind Pedro Antonio came pretty close to Pedro Moreno, who after his bad day could get the 4 th as a junior.
