More than 200 supporters and activists attended the event taking advantage of the traditional "Christmas Cup" People's Party
The Popular Party held yesterday its board last year 2010, in which the PP Secretary General and Municipal spokesperson, Josefa María Sánchez, took stock of the political activity during the year ended.
The event was addressed by President of the PP, Bartholomew Peñalver, who highlighted the degree of cohesion of the party, and Deputy Secretary of Organization, Juan José Salas, who referred to the work of the working committees for program development elections and the degree of evaluation in this term.
In addition, the Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, reported on the strategy and guidelines of the local government for the last six months of term.
The Board, which are composed of members of the Executive and public officials in PP, was held before the traditional "Christmas Cup" which brought together over 200 members and supporters.
The Secretary General reviewed the main routes which have focused on political activity of thirteen councilors of the Municipal People in the City, directed, he said, to defend the general interests of the residents and the productive sectors that support the social economy at this time of crisis.
He recalled that the basic pillars of the action of PP in the City Council have been fighting the crisis and job creation, the claim of the infrastructure needed for the different administrations to Totana and the defense of the Tajo-Segura.
Sanchez Mendez reviewed the proposals submitted by his group in the plenary municipal and referred to the ongoing political demands of the historical debt to the Government of the Nation., The request for the Reform of Local Finance and the requirement for a Finance Act Local.
He reported on the campaigns promoted by the PP and recalled the renewal of the executive of the PP and New Generations after the holding of congresses, as well as philanthropic and solidarity promoted by the PP in 2010.
