Totana City Council has invested in improving the deputation of the Sierra about 100,000 euros, within the Infrastructure Plan conducted during the three year term.
Specifically, the Consistory were carried out works to adapt the way of "Purgatory" in this hamlet, which has adapted the shrine area and the whole way.
To achieve this the project has been implemented in two phases, which has invested a total of 74,642 euros.
It has also undertaken the installation of the mains in the hostel of Santa Leocadia, which will be opened by the municipal authorities tomorrow, Saturday 25, coinciding with the celebration of the holiday hamlet, after the procession and mass.
This project with an investment of around 6,000 euros, driven by the Department of Youth, will encourage young people and associations who enjoy safe haven in a better position to do so, because, so far, the agencies did not have electricity.
Along the same lines, is expected in a few months the project works to improve the network of water supply in the council's Sierra and layout of two roads, near the municipality with Aledo and the northern part the municipality.
The council currently has a network of poor drinking water supply, so that this action is to renew part of it in the near future to tackle the remaining sections of the area.
The actions to be carried out in the existing sections in the Way of The Molejones and Camino de La Bodega, have a budget of EUR 45,419.22.
In the case of the Camino de Los Molejones will replace a stretch of 300 meters due to its deterioration, and in the Way of La Bodega is going to replace a length of 1,000 meters above connecting with, and also is in an advanced state of disrepair with numerous leaks.
