The Department of Caminos paves, with its own resources, the roads of COATO and Ezequiel, next to the Sports City

The Council of Roads of the City council of Totana is undertaking during these days, with own budgetary resources municipal, works of paving in the roads of COATO and Ezequiel, next to the Sports City "Valverde Reina";

At the same time he has undertaken numerous patching and conditioning activities in others, such as Vía Nueva and Casa de don Luis, in El Paretón.

The mayor, Andrés García, and the councilor of Caminos, Víctor Balsas, have visited some of the works that are being carried out these weeks in order to know first hand the state in which these infrastructures are being.

The paving works of the COATO road, which is being carried out by the company "Pavimentos Asfálticos Lario, SL", affect a section of more than 300 linear meters and have a budget of 19,000 euros.

For their part, as explained, Ezequiel road repair works have a budget of 10,000 euros and come to remedy the deficiencies caused a year ago by the torrential rains recorded and that caused the collapse of the road as a result of a landslide land.

In addition, municipal officials recalled that the City is pending the drafting and implementation of the projects corresponding to the Regional Road Plan promoted by the Autonomous Community in 2017, and which is intended to condition the rural roads of La Barquilla and Casa del Trini

Similarly, they reported that, in the third call of the Plan corresponding to 2018, the arrangement of the old ways of Lébor, Motor of the Ñorica, Casa del Clerigo and Turbinto have been selected.

In this regard, the mayor asked for more "administrative agility" to the Autonomous Community to make possible the settlement of road projects covered in these programs, as he said, Totana is a municipality with a wide road network of rural roads that has many needs and require their arrangement and regional financing, he said.

The municipal representatives visited, accompanied by the mayoress of El Paretón, Paqui Caballero, the patching works of the House of Don Luis, parallel to the Totana-Mazarrón highway, and others that have been prepared with gravel.
