Local authorities accompanied La Musa and Don Carnal today in their traditional visit to the residence "La Purisima" and to the Day Centers for People with Intellectual Disabilities "José Moyá Trilla" and Mental Illness "Princess Letizia" of Totana, within the events programmed by the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval during these days.
The mayor, Andrés García, and the Councilor for Citizen Services and Human Resources, Gertrudis Ruiz, accompanied the two protagonists of this year's Carnival during their visit to both public services, which star Sonia Mateo (La Esencia) and José Ramón Peñalver (In Almíbar), who chatted with joy, music and color with the users.
The event, which has been held for the last few years, also had the presence of the president of the Peñas del Carnaval Federation, Antonio García Martínez, and representatives of its board of directors, who organize the program that is held every year with the collaboration of the Department of Culture.
