Music, dancing and solidarity starred yesterday the VII Innocent Gala, organized by the Association of Rare Diseases D'Genes and the Association of Relatives and Affected Lipodystrophies (AELIP).

The gala, which also had the collaboration of Totana City Council, was held at the "Ginés Rosa" theater of the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel".

Meritxell López was the presenter of this event, which included the performance of the Tamara Hernández Step by Step Dance School, the Manoli Cánovas Dance School, the "Coro Alegría" and the "Los Lecheros" crews, "Los Gauchos" and "Los Farsantes", who were in charge of putting the musical atmosphere and dancing to an evening dedicated to rare diseases.

To all of them, different members of D'Genes and AELIP delivered a souvenir as a thank you for their collaboration.

In addition, the presidents of AELIP, Naca Eulalia Perez de Tudela, and D'Genes, Juan Carrión Tudela, intervened at the end to thank all the people who had attended and collaborated and encouraged to continue supporting groups such as rare diseases, to give visibility to the reality of the people who coexist with these pathologies and contribute to improving their quality of life.

All the money raised through the sale of tickets, through contributions to row zero and solidarity businesses will be used to support the projects carried out by both associations, specifically for the research line in the case of AELIP and the continuity of direct care services carried out by D'Genes.
