Didactic concerts by musician Pablo Nahual at the Cultural Center "La Cárcel"

Tomorrow Wednesday, November 29, 2017 the Pablo Nahual Musical Company will offer at the La Cárcel de Totana Cultural Center auditions for more than 600 students, within the pedagogical project "THE ORIGIN OF THE INSTRUMENTS".

This concert has been selected in the Cycle for Schoolchildren of the Palau de la Música of Valencia both in the 2016 and 2017 courses.

Through ethnic instruments brought from indigenous communities, already considered museum pieces due to the difficulty of finding them today, students know and listen to the sonority of the instruments of prehistoric man, thus understanding the origin of current instruments and the universality of the artistic expression in any epoch of the history of the Humanity.

The programming of Didactic Concerts is considered by the European Union as a fundamental tool for educational innovation, and provide a pedagogical content of great value both for the subject of Music and for the rest of subjects when working transversal objectives such as knowing how to be a spectator, the creation of a critical spirit and interculturality.

More specifically, Pablo Nahual's musical proposal also contributes to providing a vision to schoolchildren of how the human being, from its prehistoric origin, felt the need to express himself artistically, a fact that denotes the intrinsic artistic nature of Humanity.

Pablo Nahual is an Argentinean musician, Andean folklorist, with more than 30 years of experience on stage, both for adult and children.

Researcher of the Andean Culture, he has made numerous trips to ethnic communities where he has connected with the rhythms, essences and the most ancestral knowledge of this millenary culture.

Pablo transmits to the public in an entertaining, didactic and musical way all the knowledge gathered over the years, making us expand the horizons of imagination and knowledge.
