Totana hosts the 1st Regional Forum for Social Inclusion

It is organized by the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" in the Nursery of Companies, within the project "Guadalentín Emplea"

Totana today hosted the 1st Regional Forum for Socio-Labor Inclusion organized by the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" and the Chair of Social Economy of the University of Murcia, in the Nursery of Companies, with the collaboration of the Obra Social "La Caixa ", and framed within the project" Guadalentín Emplea ".

This initiative has to create and strengthen links between the needs of the labor market of the Bajo Guadalentín region of people in vulnerable situations and the existing initiatives in the field of support to social and labor insertion.

The event was opened by the Mayor of Totana, Andrés García, Deputy Director General of the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF), María Ãngeles Rodríguez, Alhama de Murcia Social Services Councilor, Felipe García, and the coordinator of the Employment and Training of the group "El Candil", Eva León.

These days are intended to be a meeting point in which to show the business community the fiscal incentives for the hiring of vulnerable groups, as well as the work to support the social and labor inclusion that various actors and organizations in this area develop.

The initiative has had the participation of companies, entities and agents with experience in the field of social and labor inclusion of groups in risks of social exclusion.

This forum sought to foster a meeting space between companies in the region of Guadalentín and agents of employment and socio-labor insertion to make known to companies incentives such as bonuses and reductions for the recruitment of different vulnerable groups at risk of exclusion Social;

and present initiatives and good practices of companies in the same field.

During the presentation table of the forum, the Mayor of Totana has said that he expects from this day out a concrete action plan or intervention strategy aimed at providing young people and people in need of the skills to define and lead to a training course that favors its incorporation into the productive sector, and thus reduce the factors that make it vulnerable and provoke their social and economic exclusion.

In addition, he said that this day should serve to know and promote the creation and maintenance of networks for the exchange of experiences, knowledge and good practices, both in terms of training for employment and in the comprehensive development of socially responsible initiatives in this area to facilitate the entry into the labor market of people at risk of social exclusion.

As he said, "there is no better inclusion than adequate training and work," and has reiterated its gratitude and congratulations to the promoters in this initiative;

hoping that they will be allowed to promote "processes of consensus and consensus aimed at promoting coordination among institutions, entities and socio-economic agents in order to promote the incorporation of these people into the labor market."
