The Disability Day Centers of the City of Totana have organized this summer a common program of summer activities, in which users of the Day Center for Intellectual Disability "José Moya" and the Day Center for People with Mental Illness have Made a series of special activities typical of this summer.
Within this special summer program, a triangular soccer-hall has been organized with other centers of the Region in the Pavilion of Sports "Padres Capuchinos" of the Polideportivo Municipal "6 de Diciembre".
There are also trips to the beaches of Mazarrón every Monday of this month with users of both centers and weekdays (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday);
And departures have been made to the Municipal Sports Center.
In all these outings, in addition to enjoying water and the outdoors, from the sports program have been prepared different games and recreational activities, with the aim of promoting and working on different therapeutic aspects such as understanding and internalization of the practice of sport as an activity Healthy playfulness, social skills and interactions, emotional expression and teamwork.
Also within this special summer program, have been testing the actions prepared for the end of the course that each of the centers will celebrate individually with users and families.
