For nine generations (1710 - 2017) the family of potters Bellón has worked clay in Totana (Murcia), making ceramics, within their own pottery, adapting to social changes and customs without abandoning, therefore, good craftsmanship .
We are, therefore, facing a family with a long pottery tradition (XVIII - XXI centuries), transmitted from parents to children, which today ensures its continuity with its new generations.

For its study and analysis of ancient ceramics, production of ceramics from other cultures and civilizations, the Bellón family is recognized nationally and internationally, participating in various congresses, fairs and exhibitions, and collaborating with museums and universities.
Today presents a sample of his work and trade, with reproductions of ceramics from the Argaric period (Bronze Age - 2200 and 1500 BC) and Ibero (7th to 1st centuries BC).
The exhibition La Familia Bellón, 300 years of pottery tradition in Totana ( Murcia ), will take place from Saturday 20 May 2017 at 8pm until Sunday, 16 July 2017 at the Museum of Iberian Art El Cigarralejo de Mula.
