The Popular Party held back on Wednesday, in the ordinary plenary session of March, the PSOE's intention to delay the processing of the PGMO by voting against the Socialist Party's compromise amendment, leaving both IU-GANAR TOTANA and CITIZENS with their abstention votes.
Again, the PSOE sought to extend the processing of the General Plan of the municipality of Totana with the submission of a motion that requested a new period of public exposure of the PGMO, with the sole purpose of sending to the trash the work of recent years and defend Interests other than the general interests of neighbors.
The Popular Party presented an amendment to the whole, to the motion presented by the PSOE, proposing to the plenary that the work table of the PGMO of the previous legislature be reconvened immediately to give the PSOE the opportunity to present the possible alternatives To the heights, if any, and that this serves as a tool to the Municipal Technicians to be able to estimate the allegations referring to this subject.
The amendment of the PP emphasized very clearly the need to work without hindering the Municipal Technicians in the processing of the plan putting as a limit until the classification of the allegations.
In a desperate attempt, the Socialist Party passed only part of the amendment of the Popular Party, masking in the compromise amendment the same intention that the PP proposed but drafted in a different way, an attempt that was paralyzed only with the opposition of the PP.
The PP spokesman asked the parties of IU-Ganar Totana and Citizens, who approved this general plan, to stop demonizing him and the mayor himself publicly acknowledged in the plenary that this plan had many more positives than negatives, it was found that the Same era and is a plan according to and in line with the social and economic reality that our municipality needs.
Since the last plenary session, an opportunity has been opened for the PSOE to work on the general plan defending the general interests of Totana's neighbors leaving aside, once and for all, the individual interests of a few and their party.
