The Mayor's Office dictates a side urging citizens to maintain urban hygiene conditions after entering phase 1 of de-escalation

The Mayor's Office has recently issued a faction urging citizens to maintain urban hygiene conditions on the streets and lots of the municipality after entering phase 1 of de-escalation, which is already allowing social relief measures and the gradual departure of people to the public road. This decree indicates that, with the new regulatory context, it is essential to resume cleaning the Totana sites, since the heavy rains of March and April have caused the unusual growth of wild plants and the proliferation of fauna on the sites. These events, added to the strictest weeks of confinement, have made it impossible for the owners to proceed with their ordinary cleaning, regulated in article 26 of the Municipal Ordinance on Urban Hygiene. In addition, during the weeks of confinement and even today, the persistence of bad practices in urban hygiene in Totana has been observed, throwing masks, gloves and other elements of sanitary prevention on public roads in a systematic way. These attitudes are expressly prohibited in the Urban Hygiene Regulatory Ordinance, punished with fines that carry a sanction of up to 600 euros.
