The Plenary gave account to the members of the collegiate body of the delegations of the different areas and services, and the composition of the Local Government Board of the City of Totana for this term 2009/2013, which had been agreed upon in the mayoral resolution last week.
In this way, the mayor, Juan José Cánovas, will directly manage the areas and services of Human Resources;
Internal Regime and General Services;
Treasury, Contracting and Heritage;
Transparency and the municipal society of Promotion of Industrial Land and Housing - Proinvitosa-.
In addition, councilor Inmaculada Blázquez Acosta will assume Economic Development, Industry, Training and Employment, New Technologies, Health, Animal Welfare, Youth and Childhood;
while Verónica Carricondo Gázquez will manage Culture and Celebrations, Music, Handicrafts, Tourism, Archaeological Sites and Museums, Historical-Artistic Heritage and Archive.
On the other hand, Pedro José Sánchez Pérez will be the town councilor;
Services, Infrastructure, Urban Mobility and Accessibility;
Environment;
Agriculture, Livestock and Water;
Pedanías and Rural Development.
Councilman Agustín Gonzalo Martínez Hernández will be responsible for the Police areas;
Citizen security;
Security in Public Buildings;
Civil protection;
Traffic;
Transportation, Taxis and ORA Service;
Citizen participation;
Neighborhoods;
Education and Language School;
and Sports.
Finally, Javier Baños Tudela will govern in the areas of Social Welfare;
Equality, Women, LGTBI, Disabled and Seniors;
Elderly Care Centers;
Disability Care Centers;
Consumption;
Trade, Fairs and Supply Plazas;
and municipal society Cedeto.
The delegations carried out cover all the faculties of management, internal organization and management of the corresponding services.
The resolution of the Mayor's Office includes the Local Government Board of Totana City Council, which will be composed of the mayor and the following councilors, who are appointed as Mayor's Lieutenants with the faculties and powers granted by the Law:
- First Deputy Mayor: Inmaculada Blázquez Acosta.
- Second Deputy Mayor: Verónica Carricondo Gázquez.
- Third Lieutenant of Mayor: Pedro José Sánchez Pérez.
- Fourth Deputy Mayor: Agustín Gonzalo Martínez Hernández.
- Fifth Deputy Mayor: Javier Baños Tudela.
