The Department of Youth of the City of Totana reported that have postponed the planned activities for this coming weekend within the program "Young October", which had planned to hold this department with the collaboration of youth associations in the municipality, as a result of the Meteorological forecast that indicates heavy rains for these days.
In this way, all activities organized outdoors were suspended, which were the majority, with the exception of graffiti that will be finally held at the Self-managed Social Center "La Incubadora", located in the urbanization "El Parral" -together with the heated pool-, since the guests are from outside the Region and have already confirmed their attendance.
This program, which will be located at another date that is possible in the calendar, aims to promote and develop alternatives to leisure and free time during weekends;
as well as promote and promote artistic and musical creation among young people, and encourage youth and associative participation in all areas, providing adequate means and resources.
Among the activities that were to be carried out, it was planned to hold concerts, graffiti and skate exhibitions and a charity street market, in which workshops, play games and other youth initiatives were to be held.
The activities were going to concentrate outdoors in the auditorium of the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz" and on the side of it, in the Rambla de La Santa avenue;
so they are canceled before the weather forecasts from tomorrow.
The Department of Youth regrets this circumstance for reasons of greater cause and expects to generate the least harm to the youth associations involved, to which reiterates its commitment and gratitude for its invaluable collaboration and enthusiasm in this project.
