The directors of the Presidency, Juan Antonio de Heras, and Health, María Ãngeles Palacios, received this morning at the Palacio de San Esteban to 51 children, aged between 8 and 12 years who have hemophilia or are carriers of the same and from all over Spain have arrived to the region for a few days in the camp 'The Pond' of Totana, organized by the Regional Association of Hemophilia Murcia.
Both directors highlighted the commendable work of the Regional Association of Hemophilia Murcia, custom figure of its president, Dr. Manuel Moreno, who thanked, in turn, the receipt by the Regional Government to children and their escorts.
The camp, which this year celebrates the nineteenth edition, started on July 14 and runs until 25th March.
The objective of this activity is that children receive comprehensive care, learn to know their condition and personal, for that command the attention and support of a multidisciplinary team of three doctors haematologists, three nurses, therapists and many others and by 11 monitors, a psychologist and an educator.
