The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and the councilman of Deportes, José Antonio Valverde Reina, have held a meeting recently with the renewed boards Hunters Society and The Society Paretón Hunters "Santa Eulalia" of Totana, with to address and analyze the situation which is facing this sector.
This meeting is part of the round of contacts is carried out by the government team with associations, groups and organizations in this county, in order to meet real needs and problems of these sectors.
Totana Mayor stressed the good relations existing between the two associations, which are included as sports associations engaged in big and small, and said that through this meeting has established lines of work addressing issues affecting this sector.
During the meeting agreed to hold and organize joint activities in different specific dates such as the festivities of the municipality as well as organizing work activities to further the relationship between partners and to publicize the existence and activity that develops from these hunting societies.
Also examined the problem and the situation of each of these partnerships and the impact of State Game Act, which is awaiting approval by the Government of the Nation, to these groups.
For their part, hunters have asked the municipal authorities to engage in an effort to increase the amount of subsidies granted by the Consistory, and the possibility of improving the means and facilities available for their activities.
In addition, invited to visit the hunting grounds, which are currently in use to check in situ the money invested in them.
For his part, Martínez Andreo, made a commitment to consider each and every one of these needs, the visit of these areas, and to study the budget and aid organizations of local hunters.
