The Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas, and municipal government members met today with the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Barnabas, in order to coordinate a work plan and concrete action plans in their own regional competition matters for this term.
The meeting was the Town Planning, Carlos Enrique Ballester;
Works and Infrastructure, Victor bases;
and Development and Water, Antonio Camacho, who moved to the regional executive member of its roadmap and key demands in each of its areas of management for the next four years.
The councilor thanked, on behalf of the municipal corporation, the "deference" to the counselor has to Totana to socialize around issues affecting both administrations and called the first institutional contact making "fruitful and very positive";
while stressing "the great willingness" on the part of counselor to meet the needs expressed.
Juan Jose Canovas was satisfied with the course of the meeting and the issues that had been addressed therein;
and he referred to that work hand in hand "taking into account the complex reality of finances" of both administrations.
The Mayor also reviewed some of the main issues discussed and the final approval of General Plan Municipal Management, plans for urban regeneration of some neighborhoods and housing rehabilitation programs in the historical district.
In this regard, he cited some infrastructure on which they will work as improved crossing Paretón, the west ring, the aid procedures for the neighborhoods of Las Parras and San Jose and rehabilitate facades of houses in the village, among others.
For its part, he reported that the meeting with municipal authorities of Totana has served to work on the development of joint projects and announced the forthcoming several meetings between experts from both institutions to advance the correction of deficiencies identified in the Plan General.
He also informed of the conditions set by the Autonomous Community in order to adhere to and implement areas of urban rehabilitation areas town of Totana, for which significant support from engaged up to 50% of total expenditure for reforms and rehabilitation of housing where premises as energy efficiency and accessibility predominate.
