A Municipal Service sweeper street cleaning "Tarancon Services and Licuas" caught fire this morning while serving in the district of San Francisco and urbanization "El Parral", forcing the intervention of the security forces and emergency, as sources from the headquarters of the local police.
The incident took place around 10:00 hours when the machine performed the daily route in this part of town, between Calle Mayor and San Antonio Muñoz Sánchez, respectively.
Apparently, the fire may have been a result of a short in the mechanical device of the machine, forcing the intervention of officers of the Local Police and Civil Protection personnel and firefighters Alhama-Totana park, which have smothered the fire.
In the first place, police officers intervened with fire until firefighters arrived to stabilize the situation permanently, which has also forced to cut traffic in the area.
