The president of the Community, Alberto Garre, participated today in the reception of Santa Eulalia of Mérida, patron of Totana, pilgrimage feasts framed within the municipality.
Alberto Garre said the "unparalleled devotion" that exists "in this town and its people to its patron saint, Santa Eulalia";
not only in Totana, he added, "but much Guadalentín Valley focuses on this pilgrimage, as it will tomorrow when you move to the church of Santiago and later in the rise of the virgin again the sanctuary" .
Religious acts today began with the descent of the patron saint in procession from its sanctuary, accompanied by his faithful to El Rulo.
Then the Virgin of Santa Eulalia of Mérida has been brought to the hermitage of San Roque.
