The town of Totana became the 22nd of August at the World Cycling Centre to host the final third stage of the Tour of Spain in the Spanish team's Movistar, Pablo Lastras, took the win ahead 15 seconds Advanced rest of the pack.
There were hundreds of spectators who gathered along the entire route for cyclists through the town of the municipality, whose ultimate goal was installed in the Avenida Juan Carlos I, along with the local Red Cross headquarters.
Responsible for delivering the trophy to the winner of the stage was the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, who gave Lastras a representation of the shape of the Sanctuary of Santa.
Ruiz Sanchez commended the work done by the emergency services and safety, Local Police, Civil Protection and Civil Guard, for the perfect coordination and good work over the course of the test.
He also recalled that the City has not spent a single euro in funding this great sporting event and has only limited logistical support, personnel and protocol gifts.
