The Department of Culture of the City of Totana has delivered the award ceremony of the IV Literary Contest of Poetry and Tale "Morerica Galán", which has taken place in the Municipal Library "Mateo García", within the program of commemorative events promoted coinciding with Book Day.
At the award ceremony were present the Councilor for Culture, Eulalia Moreno, the promoter of this contest Morerica Galán and the winners of the contest, which this year has had the work of thirty-eight students of schools "Comarcal-Deitania", "Guadalentín" and "La Milagrosa".
The jury was composed of Morerica Galán, María José Valenzuela and Isabel Román;
and this year the works have dealt with the theme of "Dialogue", in which the absence of spelling mistakes, the correct punctuation, creativity and originality of the texts have been valued.
In the poetry mode, the winners have been: first prize, Nerea Santiago Muñoz (5th grade of the CEIP Comarcal-Deitania), with the play "Parándome a pensar";
second prize, Sofía Rodríguez Sánchez (5th year of the CEIP Comarcal-Deitania Primary School), "La vida dialogando";
and third prize, Erika Sánchez Uriondo (5th year of Primary of the CEIP Comarcal-Deitania), "Dialogar para vivir".
In the story mode, the winners were: first prize, Romina Isabel Garcete Rodríguez (2nd of ESO at Colegio La Milagrosa), with the work "Palabras de silencio";
second prize, Juan Carlos Andreo Martínez (6th Primary of CEIP Guadalentín);
and third prize, María Pérez Paredes (5th year of Primary of the CEIP Deitania), "Lost in the forest".
