The mayor, Andrés García Cánovas, has raised a motion to the April plenary session to formalize a collaboration agreement with the General Directorate of Cadastre regarding cadastral management, to replace the one signed by the Totana City Council on May 26, 2009.
On this date, the City Council of Totana signed an agreement with the General Directorate of Cadastre of the State Secretariat and Budgets that implied the exercise of functions in terms of cadastral management.
These include the processing of records of physical and economic alterations, collaboration in the reception of documentation and adaptation of the actions to the different letters of services of the Cadastre and its plan of objectives and actions, as well as to the provisions of the regulations on the protection of personal data.
In addition, the proposal includes requesting from ASIREC, SL, as the company awarded the current land registry management contract in the municipality of Totana, the preparation of an explanatory memorandum stating the purpose of the agreement and the scope of the functions to exercise in each case, and the human and material resources available to the development of these functions.
The agreement, once it is ratified by the plenary body, will be signed by the general director of the Cadastre, Fernando de Aragón Amunárriz, and the totanero councilor, Andrés García.
