The Spanish Mountain Championship returned to Andalusia to contest the second appointment of the state calendar, predicting a weekend last for water as already happened a few weeks ago in the inaugural meeting of Estepona.
The Cadiz test was attended by Amador Nevado and José A. Sanchez totaneros drivers to continue adding experience and points in the championship which they intend to follow in full and finish the same in the home test, the Rise to the Holy.
During the day of Saturday the weather forecast was fulfilled and the rain made an appearance so the two teams of the Automobile Club Totana did not risk and were reserved for the day on Sunday and to mark good records on a floor less slippery facing the final classification.
If on Saturday the weather did not accompany, Sunday dawned totally clear and all the sleeves with the asphalt completely dry would be disputed.
In this way Amador Nevado at the controls of his usual Seat Leon Super Cup MK2 maintained a tough battle with the Galician José Antonio Alonso and his Mini Rally for the first place in Group N2, finally taking the Snowy victory by a narrow margin of 5 tenths of a second.
On the other hand José Antonio Sánchez managed to complete all the races played with his BMW 328 and acclimatized to a layout that was completely new for him, ending the test interspersed with the fastest local riders and offering a nice show to the large public I presented.
Therefore excellent weekend for the teams of the Automobile Club Totana that dispute the Championship of Spain of Mountain, being the following scheduled appointment the International Climb to the Fito, that will be disputed the weekend of the 19 and 20 of May in the Principality of Asturias.
