The Service of Advice to the User of the Municipal Services of the Department of Economic Development informs that the term to renew the Social Electricity Bond is extended until October 8, after, recently, last April 7, by order of the Ministry of Energy, gave more time to all those users who already had it.
The deadline for this procedure ended on April 10;
although the new norm extends it until October 8, 2018.
In addition to this period, in the same order, the application form is modified, which can be requested from the different reference marketers (Iberdrola, Gas Natural, Endesa EDP, VIESGO and CHC), and it is also available at the municipal service of electricity users.
Among the numerous information that is being offered about the documentation to be provided for this renewal, it is literally cited "certificate of registration", however it can also be delivered "registration flyer" replacing it, so that the document can be obtained more quickly and with a lower cost (five euros in Totana).
In addition, it must be remembered that the documentation can be presented to the postal address, by email / web page and the customer service offices or points of service announced by the aforementioned marketers.
The so-called "Electric Social Bond" has been a resource to pay the electric bill provided that certain requirements are met.
After a period of time since its implementation, since last October, the regulatory regulations to be able to benefit from the bonus have registered a series of changes.
The sole reference marketers authorized to apply the Social Bonus are obliged to notify their clients of the obligation to renew said bonus.
The new norm contemplates as possible beneficiaries the pensioners (members of the family unit due to retirement or permanent disability), large families (with no income limit), family units with income equal to or lower than the established limits.
The income limits are increased in case of special circumstances (disability equal to or greater than 33%, gender violence or victims of terrorism), which are accredited by Social Services once they are presented with proof of going through some of the these circumstances.
The anticipated discounts, on the term of power and consumption of electricity, are 25 and 40%, in addition those who are considered at risk of exclusion, it is possible that they do not have to pay one or more bills.
The subsidized consumption has annual maximums ranging from 1,680 Kw / h for pensioners, to 3,600 Kw / h for large families.
