The Local Government Board has recently given the green light to the proposals of the councilor of Citizen Participation, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez, for the cession of the social premises of the neighborhoods of San Francisco and San Roque to the Neighborhood Association "San Francisco" and to the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil", respectively.
The purpose of both initiatives is to subscribe two collaboration agreements with the aforementioned entities for the cession by the Totana City Council of the existing municipal premises in the street Ministro Fernández Ordóñez, 3 (AAVV San Francisco) and in Calvario street-Santa avenue Eulalia (Colectivo "El Candil") for its management and dynamization.
The totanero Consistory, through the Department of Citizen Participation, has been collaborating with the social fabric of the municipality in the cession of municipal social infrastructure for the development of non-profit activities that impact on the improvement of the quality of life of the neighbors , and in the revitalization and improvement of the neighborhoods and districts of the municipality in which they are developed.
The Neighborhood Association of the San Francisco neighborhood, since its constitution, has been developing actions that contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the residents of this area of ​​the urban area, as well as to the dynamization of municipal infrastructures as spaces for participation, meeting and neighborhood activity.
The City Council has been collaborating with this Association of Neighbors for several years in the activities it develops, through technical, economic and infrastructural support to the entity.
For its part, the Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" has been developing for years in Totana actions that contribute to the dynamization of municipal infrastructures as spaces for participation, meeting and neighborhood activity, among many other initiatives.
