The Second Craft Show of Totana is held on the 18th and 19th of March, in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, with a total of 15 exhibitors that will offer different products, pottery workshops and craft crafts in the ten tents that will be installed in this public space.
The councilor of Crafts, Antonia Camacho, and the president of the Association of Artisans of Totana (ASART), Rosa María Sáiz, have presented this fair that will offer workshops and demonstrations, as well as exhibition and sale of products.
In this second edition of the Craft Show, which promotes the Department of Crafts in collaboration with professionals from Totana and is celebrated on the occasion of the patron saint of artisans, San Jose, will also meet appointments belonging to the Craft Market of La Santa, which is It celebrates the last Sunday of each month next to the atrium of the hermitage of La Patrona.
In the sample, there are several artisan crafts that will meet during these two days, as the traditional pottery of Totana to artisanal food products (cheeses and homemade sausages, honey, etc.), glass cutters, passing through the office of espartero, soaps and waxes, among others.
Between the workshops, there will be demonstrations of pottery in the lathe and craft workshops for the little ones;
as well as different demonstrations of ceramic painting, glass carving, making soap and candles, distilling essences, making honey and assembling jewelery pieces and tasting products such as Argaric liquor, among others.
Last year, five tents were installed and this year they will double, so that in four of them the master potters of Totana will be installed.
The inauguration will take place on Sunday, March 18, starting at 10:00 am;
and the schedule will be, both days, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
