The residents of Totana can comment from March 20 to April 8 in the participatory process that will designate the works that will be undertaken in the Works and Services Plan (POS) of the annuities corresponding to 2018 and 2019 in this municipality, in the framework of the participatory process jointly promoted by the councils of Citizen Participation and Works and Services to the City.
The councilors of both departments, Agustín Gonzalo Martínez and Víctor Balsas, have given an account of the procedure of this participatory process, with which it is intended that the residents choose the projects in which the budget contemplated by this program that they jointly fund will be invested. the Autonomous Community, through the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations, and the City Council itself.
The total budget for both annuities amounts to almost 460,000 euros, of the 430,000 euros are financed by the Autonomous Community, under a grant of 215,000 euros in 2018 and another for the same amount in 2019;
and the remaining 22,500 euros are contributed by the Totanero Consistory.
Those interested can participate by completing the online telematic survey that will be available on the corporate website of the City of Totana, www.totana.es, accessing it through a banner enabled for this purpose;
or deforms face by completing the surveys in the Sociocultural Center La Cárcel (direct service in the afternoon).
In addition, the Municipal Council of Citizen Participation will be held on Wednesday, March 21 (8:00 p.m.), at the "Ginés Rosa" theater of the Socio-cultural Center "La Cárcel" to inform the associative fabric and the general public of all the participatory process, in its deliberation phase.
The assessments, opinions and proposals obtained through the survey will be collected in a citizen contribution report that will be published on the municipal website of the City of Totana;
so that the projects chosen, considered more necessary by citizens, will be presented to be financed from the budgets of the Works and Services Plan 2018 and 2019 of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
The Works and Services Plan 2018/2019 has a multi-year nature, covering the expenditure commitment of the Autonomous Community for the amount corresponding to the two annuities, which will allow the possibility of reuse of the remainders that are generated.
Proposal of projects to execute
The City Council has made a pre-selection elaborating the technical projects in order that the citizens choose the works that have a greater need, and that will be remitted to the regional Administration within the Plan of Cooperation to the Works and Services of municipal competence for the aforementioned annuities 2018/2019.
The projects that the City is going to submit to public consultation are: Covering the sports track of the CEIP "San Jose" (232,320 euros), Rehabilitation of the "Ginés Rosa" Theater of the Sociocultural Center "La Cárcel" (240,000 euros), Energy Audit in four municipal buildings Casa Consistorial, House of Contributions, Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez" and Sports Hall El Paretón- (242,288 euros) being able to execute in full or partial, arrangement of the Camino de Juan Teresa in two sections, from Guadalentín River up to RM-D1, from the Camino del Colegio junction to the RM-315 highway (249,255.33 euros).
In addition, other projects are proposed, such as the construction of the bike path and paving of the service road between Jacinto Benavente and Tirso de Molina streets and the road in front of the "Los Tubos" bar (248,006.79 euros);
paving and sanitation network of San Antonio street (254,375, 06 euros) and rehabilitation of the "Marcos Ortiz" municipal park bar (125,000 euros).
Complementary projects
The call includes other complementary projects, in the event of losses occur in the previously exposed, and reuse the existing remnants;
such as the works of patching on the N-340 (50,000 euros), repair of cobblestones in several streets of the urban area (59,396 euros), renovation of sidewalks and removal of roots that lift them in Santomera street, Camino de Las Cabezuelas a la Rambla de Las Peras (67,569 euros) and improvement of the electrical installation of the School of Music of El Paretón (17,119.08 euros).
The councilors have encouraged the citizens to participate in this process in order to try to overcome the 817 votes that were accounted for in the 2017 procedure.
