Several women participated in the first session of the Feminine Personal Defense Workshop organized by the Department of Equality, with the collaboration of the Aikido Club of Totana, within the program of events organized to mark the International Day of Women.
On Wednesday March 7 and this, day 14, take place, as in previous years, this workshop taught by José Valero Molino (technical instructor entitled Aikido and personal defense of the CSD).
The Department of Equality of the City of Totana, with the collaboration of the women's associations of the municipality integrated in the Municipal Council of Equality, has organized during these weeks a wide range of activities on the occasion of the celebration of Women's Day, which commemorates every 8th of March.
With this program, it is intended to raise awareness in society, especially at an early age, and public opinion in general, of the real exercise of rights between men and women.
