The General Director of Planning, Architecture and Housing, Laura Sandoval, today encouraged 80 Totana families to apply for public aid for the rehabilitation of their homes, which may reach up to 15,000 euros.
Requests may be made in person at the Ministry of the Presidency and Development or by telematic means, through the Single Registry of the Autonomous Community (sede.carm.es) until January 16.
Laura Sandoval explained that her department expects the cost of housing rehabilitation to amount to 515,000 euros, of which more than 243,000 euros will be financed by the Community and the Ministry of Development, through the aid of the 2017 Housing Plan.
The beneficiaries of the grants can be sole owners of homes, communities of owners, groupings of communities of owners and consortiums and associative bodies of management.
Grants, which can reach 15,000 euros per beneficiary, are granted to improve the conservation, facilities, accessibility and energy efficiency of homes.
The aids allow to carry out conservation works such as improvements in the foundation, structure, facilities, roofs, roofs, facades or other common elements, and also actions to improve accessibility to buildings through the installation of elevators, lifting mechanisms, access ramps or Similar.
The director recalled that this line of aid will boost the revitalization of the urban areas of the municipalities, "making them more attractive environments and will bring greater economic and social well-being".
