The "Paint Run Festival" will be held, for the first time in Totana, on Saturday, June 24, and will take place in the fairground with the organization of the traditional race and color exhibition and musical performances of DJ' S local, organized by the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus and Holy Sepulcher and the collaboration of the Council of Celebrations.
Councilor Agustín Gonzalo Martínez and the representatives of this brotherhood of Holy Week, Alfonso Andreo and Juan Antonio Martínez - technical director of the race - presented this event that hopes to bring together many people who have the goal of having fun and enjoy of the event.
At 18:00 hours will open the doors of the fairground, and at 19:30 hours will be held the race, which has a journey of three kilometers, and will be full of color and fun.
At 22:00 hours the explosion of color will be celebrated, and after the race, throughout the afternoon and night, the festival of varied music will be held in which the DJs Alberto Cote, Valero and Juanillo del Moral will perform.
As explained by the promoters, this is an activity that comes to expand the offer of leisure and playful Totana, and it is a family race suitable for all types of people in which during the tour, at different points, spaces are enabled for Sprinkle colors on participants.
The event is held in the fairgrounds with limited capacity, so they requested that interested persons make their registration as soon as possible.
Tickets can be purchased at the Council of Celebrations (ground floor Ayuntamiento de Totana) and at the Centro Cultural Sociocultural "La Cárcel", and the price is 12.50 euros until June June and 14.50 euros until 23 June.
In addition, the collection of rucksacks and bags of the corridor with gifts (t-shirt, water bottle, colored powder and other surprises) will be held from June 20 to 23 at the Information Point to be installed at the City Hall, Monday to Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The organizers encouraged people who want to spend a good time in the company of friends to participate in this experience that has already been held in other parts of the Region with great success and thanked the Consistory totanero, through the councils of Festivities and Services, and to the sponsors their collaboration to make this new event a reality.
