The Department of Citizen Participation of the Totana City Council recalls the procedure that Totana neighborhood associations and groups must follow to obtain the Digital Certificate Associations, Federations, Confederations and Unions of Associations, as legal persons, to carry out any procedure (registration, modification of the board of directors, modification of statutes, subsidies, request for infrastructures, etc.) are obliged to submit their requests electronically; by virtue of article 14.2 a), of law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
For electronic processing, the association must have a digital certificate, electronic signature or digital signature.
The three denominations refer to the same key that allows electronic processing, and they are used interchangeably.
Steps to follow: 1.
Have a computer with Internet and email.
2.
Request from the Registry of Associations where the association is registered: the Certificate of Legal Representative of the Association.
(It usually involves the payment of a fee).
Before requesting a certificate and paying the fee, make sure that: - Your association is registered in that Registry.
That the Board of Directors is up to date, because the certificate will appear as the legal representative, the President, who appears registered in the Registry.

Once the Representative Certificate has been obtained, the Association has 15 calendar days to present it to any Tax Office (request an appointment) and that is where you will have to follow the procedure / explanation to obtain the Association's Certificate / Digital Signature.
In addition, it is communicated that the Digital Certificate of the Association has an expiration of two years.
