The Local Police detain the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with violence after a persecution and put up active resistance, according to sources from the Headquarters of this Corps. The events took place on the night of Saturday, December 19, after the patrol of police officers was alerted by the driver of a vehicle who told them that a fight was taking place between two individuals in Encomienda street. Immediately displaced to the place, the agents were able to observe two men involved in what seemed like a fight, one of them fleeing the place when he noticed the arrival of the two police patrols, ignoring the orders of the agents . After a chase through the surrounding streets, the individual could be detained, putting up active resistance, and threatening the agents, according to the same police sources. The other person involved said that he was being assaulted by the person who fled, having received a blow to the face. The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Civil Guard of the Totana post for alleged crimes of robbery with violence, injuries, resistance and disobedience, and threats to agents of the authority, which continues with the appropriate proceedings.
