The Town Planning Council of the Totana City Council will grant from this December extensions of the term for urban licenses in order to reactivate the construction sector in this municipality. In this way, many projects that were paralyzed in Totana after the 2008 crisis, most of them developments of private homes and housing developments, were abandoned without being 100% executed. However, the gradual economic recovery that has taken place in recent years has led to many individuals having taken up interest in completing these projects. The demand for new housing in our municipality makes it mandatory to take a series of measures that facilitate the construction sector in its reactivation. The Department of Urban Planning has worked to legally adapt optimal conditions so that many of these projects can be resumed with the original license conditions, as explained by its owner, Pedro Jos S nchez . With this measure, it is expected that the situation of several dozen homes in Totana can be unlocked, which will possibly have repercussions both in the public coffers and in the local construction sector and the available housing stock in the municipality, has specified the mayor of Urbanism.
