| The aim of the grants is to encourage local businesses and make customers aware of its advantages | Ciudadanos has promoted, through the General Directorate of Commerce and Business Innovation of the Ministry of Business and Industry, a package of aid to support local commerce in the Region of Murcia.
The secretary for the Organization of liberal training, María José Ros, stressed that it is an action to "reactivate and encourage purchases in small businesses." The amount of the subsidies adds up to a total of 900,000 euros and they are distributed among the different municipalities according to population criteria.María José Ros emphasizes that the objective of these grants is focused on encouraging local consumption and the dynamism of businesses, through commercial promotion actions or physical or virtual fairs.
In addition, with these actions, the aim is to value the local commerce in the municipality, increase the income of merchants and retain and attract new customers, making them aware of the advantages of buying in small businesses.The municipality of Totana will have 30,000.00 euros according to the established economic distribution whose council has until next December 5 to present the required documentation.In any case, these actions must be carried out in compliance with the mandatory protocols established by the health authority in this regard.José David Amorós Councilor and Spokesperson for Ciudadanos Totana- highlights the importance of this political action, which was reflected through the motion presented by Ciudadanos Totana and approved in the last plenary session on November 26, 2020, and which has as purpose to support local commerce in our municipality, of the consequences that are suffering derived from the Covid-19 crisis.
