| It is framed in the Labor Project, A step towards employability | A total of 15 unemployed people start an occupational training action in the municipality of Totana, to promote the labor insertion of people in situations of social vulnerability.The Collective for Social Promotion "El Candil" began at the end of October the Social and Health Care Course for Dependent People, in which a total of 15 unemployed people are participating, from the municipalities of Totana and Alhama de Murcia.The main objective and purpose of this training action, as reported by the Collective to the newsroom of Noticias Totana, is to equip the participants to care for dependent people in the social health field in the institution or home, to maintain and improve their personal autonomy and their relationships with the environment.
As well as helping people with physical, mental and social health needs in the social health field.This training action is being taught at the “Olímpico” Neighborhood Social Local Center, being possible thanks to the collaboration offered by the Totana City Council, for the transfer of this place for this purpose.This course is part of the training actions developed by the Project "LABOR: A step towards employability", an initiative that is co-financed by the Murcian Institute of Social Action in 20% and by the European Social Fund in 80%.Through this project it is intended to inform, train and guide unemployed people, and people in situations of social vulnerability, on aspects related to access to the world of work.
This initiative aims to support the labor insertion process of those people who actively seek a change in their unemployment situation and find it particularly difficult to achieve it.
