The Department of Economic Development informs that the call for subsidies of the Zero Quota Self-Employment Promotion Program has been approved for young people benefiting from the National Youth Guarantee System as well as for long-term unemployed who have concerns about undertaking, a subsidy that will allow them not to pay during their first two years of activity as self-employed Social Security contributions, the term of which is open until October 30.Through this subsidy, the Regional Service of Employment and Training of the Region of Murcia (SEF) not only assumes these fees, but also offers an initial aid of 2,000 euros in the case of men and 2,500 euros for women.In the event that the beneficiary is a person with a disability, is at risk of social exclusion or is a victim of gender violence or terrorism, they may receive 3,500 euros.To enjoy the aid, the beneficiaries must be registered as self-employed for a minimum of two years.
The procedure includes two SEF payments, the first, after at least twelve months (that first year of installments is paid), and a second at the end of the 24 months (the corresponding fees are paid until completing those 24 months).Likewise, in order to apply for this aid, it is necessary to be registered as unemployed in the SEF on the date immediately prior to that of registration in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers of Social Security.
Young people must also be registered in the Youth Guarantee.Those interested in accessing this subsidy have to apply for it, preferably electronically due to the current situation caused by the coronavirus.
