The Department of City Services, Infrastructure, Water and Sewerage is completing this week the renovation works of drinking water and sewerage networks on Teniente Pérez Redondo street, which also includes the restitution of sidewalks and paving of said road.In addition, yesterday, Monday, the hot bituminous mixing actions took place on this road, while on Monday, August 31, it is planned to begin the work to install the sanitation pipe in General Aznar street, which will be carried out by the same company that is carrying out out those of Lieutenant Pérez Redondo.The renovation works of the drinking water and sewerage network, restitution of sidewalks and paving of Teniente Pérez Redondo street have a term of approximately two months.The actions have a budget that amounts to the amount of 77,287.8 euros; and it will allow the improvement of the sanitation and supply network; as well as on the roads and pavements of this important road in the urban area.The works, which are being carried out by the company “Auxiliares Hermon, SL”, in the sanitation network, consist of the installation of a section of the sewer system in PVC pipes with a diameter of 400 and 315 mm and its connection to the existing networks and wells.In this way, we proceed to the installation of PVC pipes with a diameter of 160 mm for single-family homes and 200 mm for buildings and their connection; Siphonic manholes in sidewalks, manholes and repair of existing manholes. Regarding the supply network, the installation of sections of the potable water network in cast iron pipes with a nominal diameter of 100 mm will be undertaken, including junctions; and of potable water connections in 32 mm diameter polyethylene pipe for single-family homes and 40 mm for buildings and their connection.
Likewise, the repair of manholes will be carried out, as well as the cleaning and disinfection of the drinking water conduit.Lastly, the works on the surface and pavements consist of supplying and spreading a 6-centimeter-thick tread layer, hot mix bituminous, AC 16 surf S 60/70, with porphyry aggregates, including adhesion irrigation; I join with slurry in 5x5 cm bands, in the trenching sections; curb and sidewalk restitution; and relocation of the existing curb.
