| While in ESO and Baccalaureate they will do so on 11 and in FP on 18 of the same month | The 2020/21 school year in the municipality of Totana will begin in Early Childhood and Primary Education on September 7; and in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Baccalaureate and Adult Education on the 11th and in Vocational Training (FP) on the 18th of the same month, according to sources from the Department of Education.The Ministry of Education approved a few days ago the calendar in the 45 Murcian municipalities and it was published in the BORM last Saturday, May 27.
The Totana Municipal School Council sent its proposal for the 2020/21 academic year several weeks ago, which was sent to the Autonomous Community for its final approval.The calendar proposed the start and end dates of the course at the different educational levels in this municipality, as well as holidays and local festivities or non-school days for the patron festivities in the different teachings.Thus, the beginning of Early Childhood Education will be on Monday, September 7; In ESO, Baccalaureate and Adult Education the start will be on Friday the 11th and in Professional Training it will also start on Friday, September 18.In this way, they must have 178 school days in Infant and Primary, 175 in Secondary and 167 in Vocational Training.The end date of the school year in these teachings will be: June 25, 2021 in Early Childhood and Primary Education; and on June 23 in the cases of Secondary, Baccalaureate and FP.In addition, the school vacation periods would be those from December 24 to January 6 (Christmas holidays) and from March 29 to April 2 (Easter holidays).Likewise, the following are established as festivities of the pattern of the corresponding teachings: November 27, 2020 (Early Childhood and Primary Education), January 29, 2021 (ESO, High School and Adult Education) and February 1, 2021 (FP).December 10, 2020 and January 7, 2021 are set as local holidays (non-working days for work purposes determined by the municipality).
Similarly, other non-school days included in the approved school calendar proposal are 9 , December 11 and 23, 2020; January 8; and April 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, 2021.
