The Local Government Board has recently authorized the expense derived from the participation of minors proposed by the Totana Social Services Center for free time activities, family conciliation and other activities that favor their social inclusion processes within the available credit limit of 6,500 euros.The proposed activities that are contemplated are varied and range from summer schools, sports, music, cooking workshops, photography, school reinforcement, treatment of hygienic-sanitary habits and, in general, any of interest in the processes of personal development and inclusion of the participating minors.The professionals of the Social Services Center have been detecting numerous situations of minors in situations of risk or lack of protection, derived from the difficulties of their legal guardians in the exercise of parental functions.In this sense, they highlight the impossibility of time for care and family conciliation, neglect, violence between adults, aggressive attitudes towards minors, indolent guidelines in hygienic-sanitary treatments, among others; and some of them with a very serious incidence that results in the withdrawal of children from the family nucleus.The objective of channeling minors to free time activities and work-life balance is that they can acquire other adult models of reference, make pedagogical use of recess time and facilitate family reconciliation with other areas, supporting the family nucleus in overload that adults take before their coexistence imbalances.
