The Plenary of the City Council of Totana has recently approved including in the Municipal Budgets for the current fiscal year 2020 the incorporation of the job called "Inspector of Municipal Taxes", with the corresponding economic endowment similar to the position of inspector of works.In addition, it has been agreed that this position be offered, in the first place, among the workers of the workforce of the Totana City Council itself and that they are currently active.In the event that said position is not covered in this way by merit competition among the applicants, it is advocated to take it out to competitive examination, in the Public Employment Offer for this year 2020.This initiative, promoted by the Now Totana Civil Platform, aims to carry out comprehensive control and monitoring of compliance with tax ordinances, including the Regulatory Ordinance of Private Use or Special Use of the Municipal Public Domain, Municipal Ordinance for the Implementation of Activities, Regulatory Ordinance for the Installation of Hospitality Terraces on Public Roads, among others.This position already existed in the City Council staff for about ten years; and it is wanted to implement its figure as there is in the staff of the Totanero Consistory Staff the place of Inspector of Works, whose task is to monitor compliance with municipal works regulations, such as prior communication, responsible declaration, urban planning licenses, etc.
